Emmanuele holds degrees in Information Engineering, Philosophy of Science, and Epistemology of the Human Sciences. Combining academic training with a commitment to public engagement, he has worked as a freelance journalist for over thirty years, exploring the frontiers of technology and science with rigor and creativity and translating complex issues into accessible analyses. In recent years, he has focused his research on the cultural dimensions of technological transformation, from privacy and medicine in the digital age to the ethical implications of artificial intelligence and biotechnology. He has written for Wired, Agenda Digitale, Infomedia, Punto Informatico, Medium, Apogeo, and MC Microcomputer; served as editor of DEV and Linux Magazine; founded and edited Login – Save Internet Wealth; and contributed to the programming schedules of Radio Linux and Radio Radicale. With a blend of technical expertise and popularizing passion, Emmanuele has published hundreds of specialized articles, authored a volume on the SCO vs. Linux case, and produced the Hermes Guide to Digital Voting. His work has investigated transparency in decision‑making processes, peer‑to‑peer advocacy, and the risks of electronic voting.
